Nice witnessing, why do you feel compelled to 'spread the word.' You know nothing of what atheism is or what atheists are. For one, atheism isn't a philosophy, it is merely the lack of belief in gods. Also, atheists don't hate religion, their fellowman or 'god.' Do you hate Zeus, Osiris, Oden/Woden or Thor. You can't hate a nonexistent being. Also, atheists aren't thirsting or hungering the 'justice of god.' Are you thirsting/hungering for the justice of Ra. Atheists don't concern themselves with fairytale nonsense, just like Christians don't concern themselves with the belief in the Horned King and the Dark Mother. Also, you seem to hate atheists more than any atheist hates you. The number of hateful or malevolent atheists there are in the world is so minute you could only fit them all in a 4' by 4' prison cell, religions on the other hand have had a strong tendency to make many followers aspire to such hatred. Also, atheists aren't destructive, most are peaceful, law abiding citizens. Religion on the other hand has shown a different story-the Crusades, the Roman Catholic Inquisition, the Spanish Inquisition, 30 years war, the Salem Witch Trials, Muslim and Christian wars in Africa, the Protestant and Catholic wars in Ireland, promotion of anti choice and anti science, war on reason, slavery, suicide bombers, Taliban, the Holocaust, God's chosen desert tribe, 9/11 and Mohammed's early spread of Islam.Atheists don't need saving, they live happy moral lives without the unneeded belief in god/gods/goddesses/immortality or the supernatural.

Hate is a strong word, and i believe you are in the wrong forum as well. You appear to be unsecured and desperate person. Plus, you just confirmed by your single post why atheist don't believe in your god thing.
We don't hate you and yours, we don't hate your religion, and we definitely don't hate your god, as we don't believe in one. What we hate, is preaching and pushing your believes on others, like your life depends on it, well, in your case, it probably does. But no, i don't need your sympathy, and i don't need your prayers, so take it where it will be appreciated, which isn't here.

You are thirsting for answers that give comfort at any cost. We too wish you no ill will and wish that you find what is best for yourself and your fellow man. Many of us feel that once the perilous step of believing in something without evidence is taken, there can be no limit to the absurd notions that can arise from these beliefs. Atheists are not the hatemongers that you suggest. How do you hate a God you don't even believe exists? That doesn't even make any sense. I see as much or more compassion for our fellow man coming from atheists on this forum as opposed to Christians, particularly when you read these antigay tirades that never seem to end. I do get irritated with certain religious individuals but I don't hate anyone on this forum who's religious and there's quite a few I think very highly of.
