Congrats, I'll bet it's really difficult to read a point of view that doesn't mirror your own.

You can't say that for certain. For all you know, your God is sitting on a couch right now with Vishnu and Thor.. taking bets on who can get the most converts by the end of the day.

Can you say with certainty that I'm wrong?

I can say with certainty that you have just as much a chance at being wrong as anybody else. I can also say with certainty that after studying your religion and numerous others that the contradictions and errors are plentiful, and indicate to me that the risk of you being wrong is higher than the risk of you, or any other religious zealot for that matter, being right.

We'll have to disagree then. You certainly have that right be wrong, though.

Why would anyone think "I can't disprove this with absolute certainty" is a reason to believe something?

[quote=kdbrich;8218671]Ray Comfort has raised $20,000 to challenge him to a debate. Think he has the intestinal fortitude to show up?

Id pay big money to see Dawkins debate Dr. Norman Geisler who is Modern Christianitys BullDog Debater . No one will debate Dr. Geisler anymore.

Debating creationists on the topic of evolution is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon -- it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flys back to its flock to claim victory.
