Yeah, i think it's a good song also. It's by this guy named Frenchy. You can get a free mp3 of the song on his facebook page under his music tab.

Hm. Not as bad as I thought it would be.
I'll be working at the Dome during the games, though, so no time to watch...

You know - i totally dig what this guy is trying to say - it's a good anthem - but I used to work smack-dab in the middle of Georgia State - and you would never really know there is a university surrounding you. I grew up in a Collegetown - and you knew when you were on campus, not jsut because of kids, but because of the stores and the restaurants and bars and housing all around it. Tech is more like that, but Georgia state, not so much.

It would go a long way towards re-vitalizing downtown, I think.

Ditto on the revitalization.

And yeah, Georgia State is incognito when it comes to 'feeling' like a university.

I lived on campus for three years in the dorms. Personally, I like the set up of the university in downtown. Everything is so close together that you can just walk to anywhere you need to go in like 5-7 minutes (class, admissions office, financial aid office, rec center, student center, etc.). Walkability is what I like about Georgia State.

I know Georgia Tech utilizes several buses to get their students around campus. However, Georgia State has only three bus routes that run regularly: two buses that run from the dorm (University Commons) to two separate locations on campus, and a bus that runs from Turner Field to one location on campus.

MARTA is also a valuable resource for GSU.

Proper English isn't a prerequisite I'm guessing.

Great news!

If my google earth measurements aren't failing me, this includes the entire northern two-thirds of that block, including the existing three-story parking garage. Hopefully it's urban, has good street-level presence, and is asthetically pleasing when viewed from the park. Either way it will be a big improvement upon what's there today!

lol at his name being "frenchy"

Good song, GSU has really done some great things. Patton was a great visionary for the school. I remember when GSU went to the NCAA Tournament years ago.
