Default Gwinnett Tech-Culinary Program

Has anyone been to or know someone that has been to Gwinnett Technical College for Culinary Arts? I am considering this over Le Cordon Bleu or The Art Institute just for the shear difference in price. (It's about 1/3 of the price) Some input on the quality of training, teachers, schedule flexiblity, etc...

However, I know some employers like to see a well know "name" on a resume.
I just don't I am willing to fork over $40,000 for a 15 month course.

Westward is on a distinguished road
I don't know anything about Gwinnett's program, but I'm always hearing about Chattahoochee Tech's program being well known for their culinary arts program. I've also heard that it's difficult to get the classes over with in the time it ought to take, due to lack of available classes when one is ready for them. If you're in a hurry, choose carefully. I have a friend who is out of work for 2 years trying to get classes over with.

Very helpful, Thanks. That will be one of my questions when I speak to them this week.

Default Culinary School

You would save yourself a lot of money by going to tech. I went to the Atlanta Arts Inst. and spent a fortune. When I graduated the pay was awful and work as we know is tough, but a passion. Some of the teachers from AAI also taught at Tech. Many students I graduated with have gone into other professions becuase the pay was not all that great. What you need are the skills and you can get them from tech. Plus you need the experience in the field that is what will get you a long way not the expensive school.
