I am going to look at a condo tomorrow at the Palmer & Phelan Condo Building located at 93 Peachtree Place, which is about a half block from the Midtown Marta station.

Anyone have any info regarding this building in terms of quality, maintenance, and safety?

Thanks.

I agree with arjay - it is a beautiful old building with lots of character. I don't know any more about it than that. I have shown a unit in the building before but have never sold anything in the building. I personally like it's location in terms of Peachtree, the Midtown Mile, MARTA, shopping, restaurants and Piedmont Park.

Thanks to both of you for your comments and responses. @George Chong, it is for all the reasons you listed that I look forward to living at that location.

I have looked at units in Luxe and 1010, but I am finding out that I am more attracted to the charm and architecture of some of the older buildings.

The entire building is lovely but I am especially fond of the porches on the top two floors. Spectacular views.

I went to a party on the top floor about 5-6 years ago...have always loved that building.

I want to thank everyone again for their input. I had a chance to view two properties at the Palmer and Phelan Building and also got information for one other building in the area. Both were very nicely designed and have made my list for final contenders.

I am also hoping that the opening of the old Visions nightclub does not produce a negative impact on this community.
