What argument are you referring to? As far as I can tell I was making an observation, not arguing for or against anything.

The original plan was to have limited exit and access points making it a true bypass. In that case, the land prices won't sky rocket everywhere.

Years ago I was auditing a bank in North Georgia and they have many customers that had hit it big selling family land for whatever highway. This land had been in the family for years and many customers with limited finanical smarts quickly wasted the money.

I added a second loop around the metro area ... something to think about in 2050 lol! This loop added up to be about 420 miles total and would make Atlanta metro area dominate Northern Georgia
