My hometown is Warner Robins (just south of Macon) and I lived in Stockbridge for 8 years! We moved away 2 years ago. When we first moved there it was a wonderful place. However, after Clayton County lost their HS accreditation everyone started moving to Stockbridge from there. I believe it started going south then. So we moved. Although, our neighborhood was still very nice (Swan Lake) and the previous person was correct in Eagles Landing. You can find some nice areas in Stockbridge but it wouldn't be my first choice any longer.

McDonough, north through Stockbridge is just another extension of Clayton county now.
