We are a family hopefully moving to East Cobb late this year from Canada with my husband's work and we have a daughter who likes to trampoline.
She can flip very well on trampolines and has had professional coaching for the last 3 years. She is not interested in gymnastics and hasn't tried tumbling - she has just concentrated on trampolining. She's 12.
We're looking for a club in North Atlanta - does anyone know of one?? We looked around the Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta but they just had in-floor trampolines and this wasn't their main focus. I have googled but not having any luck with clubs for her.
Does anyone know of any just trampoline clubs in Atlanta with instruction? The sky zone place appears to be for fun/exercise classes. It's a lot of fun but needs to be taught correctly :-). Thanks again.
I have never heard of such a thing, but that certainly doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
I recommend you contact the gymnastic instruction places to ask if they know of such lessons. If none of them seem to know, you may very well be out of luck.

MMmm. Yes - you could be right. There is a distinct development program in Ontario where you can work up on your skill levels. My daughter's rather good (but I'm biased :-)). Thanks again for the advice everyone.
PS - I keep getting asked questions in my reputation rather than by PM. I can't answer these - reply isn't an option.
No payoff, just something she really enjoys greatly.
Flinging yourself around with twists, half twists etc is a lot of fun and freedom. Proper trampolines, not back yard ones, are 3 times more bouncy and are incredible fun.
And yes, people can take it very seriously - there are certainly world championships etc.
