I recently moved to the area from DC and I am considering purchasing a house ASAP. My job is very secure and I plan on being here for at least 5-10 years. Some of the areas I am interested in are North Decatur (Medlock park area), Decatur, Kirkwood...in that order. I would also like the possibility of renting it out if necessary, which is why I was thinking the medlock park area would be good since it is close to Emory University. 250k -- but want to keep it around 150k-200k House Very Secure, commute to peachtree center area downtown Single, No Kids No preference somewhat important Family oriented

If you work at Peachtree Center, and public transit is somewhat important to you, definitely try to take advantage of MARTA (there is a station right under Peachtree Center)...
