I'm currently moving to the Atlanta area just out of college after taking a job offer while attending law school at GSU. I'm looking for a place for a decent price that's maybe a studio or one bedroom within a reasonable distance from both GSU and Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Where should I start looking?

yeah, get used to it. You'll be doing a lot of "defining" in law school...

Define why you're going to law school with the legal job market being what it is today?

If I were in your shoes, I would look along the MARTA line. MARTA goes right to the airport and GSU. Not knowing your price range, it's difficult to narrow it down any more than that.

Define why nobody wants to help you in this thread?

I have heard good things about this place. It is right in the Heart of GSU's campus and it is 2 blocks from a marta station that gives you easy access to the airport.

There are apartments around North Springs, Lenox, and Lindbergh stations on the MARTA rail lines. Those line will take you straight to GSU and the airport. Might even do a Google maps search around the MARTA rail stations to check the areas out.

You may also want to define whether or not you'll be renting or buying.

Many in this thread made bad assumptions, not that they're not right.

I would personally move to either Midtown or Poncey-Highlands area. Anywhere around downtown/midtown etc will have a short commute to the airport.

If I were a graduate student at GSU, I would try to live downtown. It will put you in immediate proximity of the law school for classes and the library, without dealing with the costs of parking or the time involved in commuting on MARTA (not that MARTA is much of a hassle, but you could cut any hassle by living downtown). Where will you be working?
