SAFE walking distance, that is. I will be working at the airport and would like to take the subway to work. Looking for a studio or 1 bedroom, budget up to $1200.

Lindbergh Center has several around the station. Lindbergh is on the direct line to the airport, no transfers.

Lenox marta station: any of the properties in and around Lenox Park.

It's a 5 minute walk. But if you don't feel like walking, the MARTA lot has free parking so long as you are there for under 24 hours.

There are a lot of answers to your question. You can live along the north-south line and live as far out as Dunwoody (there are some apts with very close access to the north end of the marta line), or you can live around Inman park, etc.

Lindberg....exactly what you are looking for or the ones on Peachtree Dunwoody road by North Srpings Station, and on Ashford Dunwoody by Perimeter Mall which shares space with the Dunwoody Marta station.
