Hi guys,

I love being physically fit/active and though I'd love to run outside rather than run on a treadmill, I find it hard to find a good running route in Duluth area. The only places I do run are McDaniel farm and Shorty howell park and that's it.

Can you recommend me some good running routes in Duluth, preferably pretty flat and safe?

Thank you!

try the NPS parks near the Chattahoochie. There are tons of them from Atlanta to Lake Lanier. You have to pay $3/day though or ~$25/year for an annual pass.

Well worth it if you love running in the woods.

My favorite area is Riverside Road and Azalea Drive in Roswell. Lots of trails in the vicinity.

You are running in Gwinnett county parks, which are great, but don't forget that the city of Duluth also has its own small park system.

I believe there is a small jogging trail in Bunten Road Park, but I can't personally vouch for it. If you don't mind going up the road a couple of miles, the Suwanee greenway is very scenic.

The closest Chattahoochee area with a trail to Duluth would be the one on Abbotts Bridge road. It's not terribly long, but a nice wooded trail.
