is doing it's job. It's acutally going above and beyond the call of duty by requesting that COX / AJC cease littering in our neighborhood. When newspapers accumulate in someone's driveway, it notifies the owner they need to clean up their pile of papers. But when they accumulate in the street, that is not anyone's property. The HOA wouldn't demand that anyone go clean up a public street. That would be great lawsuit fodder when someone gets hit by a car.

if there is trash in the street, and your street is a public right of way, then call the county DOT and make it their problem. That is what we pay county taxes for, among other things. If the trash is being deposited by the AJC, I am sure the county will be glad to send them a bill for cleanup.

While I don't know for sure, I bet the AJC takes a lot of the leftover ads from the Sunday paper and bundles them in these "free" papers they leave in peoples' yards.
