Very disappointed in the hosts. I don't listen to 790 the Zone but I have been a big fan of Steak Shapiro's Atlanta Eats - I will have to rethink that one.

I just watched American Man about Kevin Turners fight with ALS - there is nothing funny about ALS - very poor taste.

Well...

They've been fired.

That didn't take long.

Good call 790!

I don't know.

I mean, I don't listen to sports radio, never have....and I don't know the story.

But it seems to me that anybody can make a mistake, go too far, do something that in retrospect you realize was idiotic. I've put my foot into my mouth plenty of times, so I have a bit of a tolerance for this sort of thing.

Seems to me that these guys could do a lot more good by frankly discussing the situation on the air and by talking about why they did it, why it was wrong, and how people can learn from their mistake. I'd rather see something like that than just have these guys fired outright.

I agree you have a point.

However, they have been getting killed in the ratings and 790 is a sinking ship. This was a convenient excuse to finally flush these turds form the airwaves.

With all due respect, your comment is an insult to turds everywhere.
