Makes sense. It will be quite the hassle to have to fly into Sea-Tac and then drive up to the border to cross. Getting back into the U.S. would be no picnic, for sure.

Possibly a large Delta widebody order is imminent.

Wikipediahttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delta_Air_Lines_fleet shows an existing order for the A330-900 and the A350-900. Another order on top of this is a good sign.

Yea, the scrutiny crossing back extends the wait. There are two border crossing areas, one straight up I -5 and the other farther east at Abbottsford. Getting into Canada took less than 10 minutes but coming back was ridiculously slow! But like with TSA at the airport, you can sign up for an expedited lane pass, which i didn't get but would have saved a lot of time.

This is interesting. I think this is the only direct flight from Atlanta to Eastern Africa.

I wonder if it'll make money.

Good news: WestJet increasing peak summer service to Vancouver from 4x weekly to 8x (two flights on Saturday). Probably means there’s good demand—maybe even becoming a year round flight.

Bad news: Frontier canceling Kingston Jamaica flights. I think 1 or 2 weekly. Oh well, not all these destinations are going to work out for them.

It is.

It's a good Airline, and business travelers trust them more and more. They are known for good service and reasonable Business Class fares. I think they'll do well.

Montego Bay would probably do better, I don't think that many tourists are going to Kingston.

Yep, Kingston has always struggled on any market not named Miami, there is basically zero tourism traffic on this route.
