Although the Walmart on Howell Mill isn't 24 hours, the Kroger in the shopping center next to it is 24 hours.

I don't suggest any single person live in the suburbs if they can help it. Marietta Square is supposed to be happening.
Oh gosh! I thought this site would email me when I got a reponse to my threadf.

I wouldn't suggest the suburbs either now. I'll check out Buckhead. It sound like it makes much more sense than Kennesaw.

I know Vinings is right there nexr ro Smyrna and I kind of like it. I'm kind of confused about what area is downtown versus midtown.

As a single person your 30's - I would have never recommended Kennesaw!
It seems that area is being recommended the most. Yeah, I get that Kennesaw was a bad idea for me.

Kennesaw is not a bad place and one can live in Kennesaw, but one will have to drive to where the action is.

Until you are able to escape the social wilderness that is North Cobb County for greener social pastures closer to and inside the I-285 Perimeter, here are a few links to help you deal the geographical social isolation of OTP Northwest Metro Atlanta:

...A link to the "575 Social" group meetup, based in Kennesaw:
575 Social (Kennesaw, GA) - Meetup

...A link to the "20-something's in Cobb County" social meetup group (also open to people in their 30's):
20-something's in Cobb County (Marietta, GA) - Meetup
Thanks for the links!

Plus you will have the reverse commute
Yeah, I know I messed up moving to Kennesaw. It's really starting to sound like Vinings may be the spot for me.

FWIW, as anyone around here will tell you, there is a HUGE difference between the environments of different parts of town.
What's the environment like in Midtown?

Hmm. How is Inman Park? I've heard good things about it and Virginia Highlands but haven't visited either area.
