Other than one incident in Five Points (surprise surprise) there hasn't been a single homicide in Midtown or Downtown this year. There aren't very many robberies either, considering the number of commuters and visitors. It's pretty safe these days.

Most crimes according to the Police officer present at our monthly neighborhood meetings are cell phone grabbing, and people cars when valuables are visible.

I was under the impression that Chicago had this title for a while now. Maybe 5 or 6 years??

Those racist comments lol and they were upvoted so much. Just goes to show a large part of America still holds racial resentment inside of them. Not saying they're wrong, but yeah...

Were we EVER ranked high in murders? Even when we had 200+ murders during the crack era DC, New Orleans, Detroit, Chicago, Bmore, Philly, etc still had wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more murders than we did during that time period
