I agree with emcee squared - I much prefer the old coke museum.

There was so much to see and read! It was a fun trip down memory lane.

The new museum tries to be interactive but it is very lame. I felt like I kept getting trapped in different rooms and could not get out. I much prefer the go at your own pace in the old one.

I would have gone to the old one more than once perhaps with different visitors, but the new one sends chills down my back like going back to prison.

I knew of these already. The Civil Rights Museum is overdue. Glad that is opening. National Health Museum sounds interesting. College Football HOF. I'm sure that'll be pretty popular. I know I won't be going to that though lol.

Who the heck is hyping Atlanta? Give an example that is not on City-Data?

Well, there are these too.

Botanical Gardens
Piedmont Park
King Plow Arts Center
Zoo Atlanta
Arabia Mountain
Oakland Cemetery
Kennesaw Mountain
Carlos Museum
Fernbank Estate
Gibbs Gardens

Besides that, Newsboy made a good point. What attraction do our peer cities have for tourist that outdo us so much?

Sure Miami and DC may have more touristy stuff, and obviously Orlando, but what does Houston, Dallas, Nashville, Austin, Charlotte, Philly, Detroit, and even Boston have more of as far as tourist or cutlural stuff than Atlanta? I feel like people hate on ATL just because sometimes.
