That ignorance is from people that have never been to Atlanta.

Well, it's also from unhappy people that live there. In life, you'll have unhappy people but I'd not waste my time spewing my unhappiness in a very dogmatic way on the Atlanta forum, nor any other forum.

I get it, people can be displeased but many of these unhappy campers go to the extreme to express their unhappiness.

Atlanta is no different from any major metro. It has it's good and bad. I'd say most have more good than bad. Atlanta is a city full of great potential.

I'm looking forward to retuning on a permanent basis.

If you're ambitious, worldly and a "go getter" Atlanta is the place for you. Also, bring a positive open mind!

Although, I'm from Ohio and we get serious winter weather, I want to wait until this newest storm passes before I return. I'd like to get back there within the next month or so, since I didn't get to make it back in January.

Among large metro areas (from 2010-2012), it's Austin. Raleigh is second though.
