this pops up on here every now and then. it's always nice to look back. downtown's skyline (and on street level) is virtually the same as it is today, but the midtown skyline is completely different.

It looks like it was probably recorded during rush hour on a weekday. Atlanta was at its absolute worst in terms of crime and decay during that period (late 80s / early 90s).

Atlanta during the early 1990's (specifically 1990) had the highest violent crime rate of any city above 50,000 at any time in the last 100 years. I'd say it has changed for the better!
