We are looking for an established neighborhood with good ppl (DIVERSITY) that look out for one another family friendly collins hill district. but I also understand that they will be re-zoniing soon does anyone know about this or website with this kind of info??. getting concerned about crime and new zoning.

I *really* wish the police departments down here would start providing information like this:

Bloomington, MN Crime Map (Minneapolis suburb)

Minnetonka, MN Crime Map (Minneapolis suburb)

Minneapolis Crime Statistics and Reports (Minneapolis city proper)

I think information like this is really interesting. And useful, too, if you're looking for areas to avoid, or just wondering what that sound was the night before...

Collins Hill is a pretty nice place. CHHS is an excellent school and some of the sub divisions over there- like Chandler Lake are good solid safe places. Generally the rule in Gwinnett is the further away from DeKalb you are the better off you will be.

Default Rezoning at Collins Hill and Russell Road

Here are two copies of the rezoning planned at Collins Hill and Russell Road. If there is anyone who lives in this area we could really use any help that could be given to let the Board of Commissioners in Gwinnett know that we don't want rezoning to Commercial at this location. There are two hearings on this matter. 1st the planning commission hearing is on 02-06-2008 at 7 PM at the Gwinnett Justice Administration Center Auditiorium and 2nd is on 02-26-2008 at 7 PM in the same building. If you live anywhere near this area all are invited to attend. As a family homeowner in this area with children who attend school I oppose the planned proposal. If you have any friends or family who live in this area please pass the word on to them, since it would like have a direct effect on property values in the area.

Default Crime Stats

That crime information on Bloomington, MN was amazing! Where can you find information like that for Gwinnett? I couldn't even find a polce blotter for Lawrenceville.
