I don't know, but that was the most boring house of the three. They always do that on episodes in Atlanta. I guess I can;t blame them for not wanting a house that needed updating, though, being pregnant and all.

Well, that explains the boring part.

The folks in this episode had a $200,000 budget and wanted two bedrooms, two baths, a garage and a yard. Hence, not in the city limits. Get over it folks. Geez.

You can get that in East Point.

I hope the irony of this comment isn't lost on anyone.

It's lost on me, and I wrote it. What's the ironic part?

...

Oh, I get it now, you're attempting to insult East Point by implying that you can get drugs, or something (?), there. As if East Point is somehow unique in that way and you can't find all the same in every other part of the metro.

That's your own baggage.

What I was insinuating is that if you are in East Point, you are not in Atlanta.

Fair enough. I often see people try to dog on East Point, probably based on the debunked study that came out a few years ago that claimed East Point is the most crime infested neighborhood in the entire country, so yeah, I guess I have some baggage about that.

Anyway, East Point is not in Atlanta, but it is within the rail network (making it part of Atlanta), and you can get the house these people were looking for there at that price or less.

I agree with your overall point (which looks like it's been deleted....or did I read it on another thread?). When people say "Alanta" they almost never actually mean "the City of Atlanta and nothing outside its boundaries."
