Hello,

I'm thinking about relocating to Georgia. Could someone tell me where to start when looking for a nice afforable place to stay (apartment) no crime areas. Not in the City, not a fan of ATL,would like to live in a diverse community. My field of work is Social work. Not sure what areas to look in for this type of work. In my late thirties, one son who's a teenager , by the time I plan my move hell be in college.

The best area to look for an affordable place to stay in a low-crime area is near where you will be working.

Because Atlanta area traffic can be extremely challenging at times, the best advice is to wait until you have secured employment and then look for affordable low-crime housing in areas that will not be too terribly far from where you will be working....This is so that you can attempt to keep your commutes as short as possible....Especially if you have to commute during morning and/or evening rush hours.
