I have adopted a smallish 10 week old kitten with significant twisted leg syndrome.
I am looking for a vet in the greater Atlanta metro area/Cumming who is familiar with this (many are not).
Unfortunately the previous owner's vet identified it correctly but instructed the owner to wait months to evaluate. All the sites I have found suggested stretching newborn legs while still flexible and kitten has not yet started to walk. Anyone know or have experience with this? Any info would help and we have started a gofundme page in case of surgery in addition to braces.

Perhaps contact the University of Georgia Veterinary Hospital

University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine

I have known friends with pets with other rare diseases/conditions where their Vets have worked in conjunction with the UGA program

I second UGA Vet School. I'm sure they're always looking for specialty cases to use as teaching tools.

(ASIDE: When I was at UGA we always laughed at the sign for "Small Animal Teaching Hospital." )
