I can't think of any mayor that would actually sit in traffic. I'm sure that Garcetti back in Los Angeles doesn't sit on the 110 or the 405.

If its true dont blame Kasim. Blame Cobb and Gwinnett county residents for flooding the Atlanta streets daily with traffic. Kasim tried to get them on-board a few years ago but the proposal failed in Cobb and Gwinnett. Now you want to blame Kasim for the problems Cobb and Gwinnett counties have inflicted onto Atlanta???

GTFOH

Doesn't matter the mayor of any city, large or small, is the head of public safety. He can respond to a situation however he likes, so as long as he is not violating the rules of the road that other members of public safety are bound by while running code.

If he's on City business, and documents that he is on city business, then I don't have much of a problem with it. It should be a tool for doing his job, not a 'perk.'

Amazing that this gets news play but yet our governor calling Black folks "colored people" at a recent press conference about that educational bill on the ballot next week gets no play whatsoever

How can you be expected to help solve probably the biggest problem to the area you govern if you are completely immune from it?

He should have to sit in Atlanta gridlock. Like everybody else.
