Atlanta Public, Small, Predom. White Schools on South or East Side of Atlanta (Peachtree City: school district)

What options are there for public schools that are predominantly white with less than 1,300 students in the high school on the south or east side within an hour of Atlanta?

Mcintosh in Peachtree City is ~2/3rd's white. Is that white enough? It's over 1,300 kids though.

Gonna ignore the racial aspect, but two things:

The reality in metro Atlanta is that if a school is considered good, it is likely to be larger than your target number.*

Second, do you mean an hour in traffic or no traffic? Generally a big difference there.

* State funding of schools in GA means that small schools struggle to offer extras and sometimes the basics if they are too small.

Try Fayette County School System. The county is about 85% white. I'm not sure about the east side for Atlanta maybe Decatur school district.

Decatur is just a hair over 50% white at the high school level, though that number is increasing. I'm not sure if "majority white" will satisfy someone seeking "predominantly white".

Most of the schools close to meeting your criteria south of Atlanta will be in Henry, Fayette, or Coweta County.
Out of these McIntosh and Starr's Mill consistently rate the highest academically.

1. McIntosh High (Peachtree City): 1,664 students: 65% white; 11% black: ranked 15/420
2. Starr's Mill High School (Fayetteville):1400 students; 76% white; 10% black; ranked 21/420
3. Union Grove (McDonough): 1575 students: 60% white, 30% black, 32/420
4. Whitewater High (Fayetteville): 1444 students; 70% white; 18% black; ranked 48/420
5. Northgate High School (Newnan): 1800 students; 75% white, 13% black 66/420
6. Ola High (McDonough): 1560 students: 73% white, 18% black; 79/420
