I thought, Gov Deal was concerned a R.I.N.O?

The nakedly racial element to this gerrymandering will probably get it tossed out in court even if it does pass.

Yeah...the campus carry would be something i definitely disagree with, but overall, he's pretty stellar compared to what's coming from most Republicans these days.

Put me down in the kudos column. Gov. Deal has done an excellent job of preventing Georgia from turning into the laughingstock some of our sister states have become.

It is obvious that he has made a real effort to be all of Georgia's governor. That doesn't mean that he hasn't said or done things that have made me cringe. But, I know he has tried to be something more than his party, more than an old white guy from the middle of Georgia, longing for how things used to be.

That "ride" on Marta has been cancelled. And why has he not used Marta before? Why is his using Marta a special occasion? This makes everyone look bad.

He's been a good governor. I mentioned it in another thread, but the gerrymandering bill everyone keeps mentioning went down in the Senate.

You expect the Governor who lives in Gainesville (and his entire security team) to ride MARTA regularly?
