CQ, drop what you're doing and visit the Clermont Lounge! Maybe not tonight because weekends are too crowded. But next Thursday night, go. If you've never listened to anything else I've ever said, listen to this. Trust me. You won't regret it.
Dare I ask why Thursdays ?

I could have gone to, but didn't, and I wish I had ...

wandered around in the downtown Rich's.

rode the Nancy Hanks from Terminal station
Some folks say that the Nancy can't run;
But stop, let me tell you what the Nancy done:
She left Atlanta at half past one
And got to Savannah at the settin' of the sun.
The Nancy run so fast
She burnt the wind and scorcht the grass
(author unknown)

Atlanta Motor Speedway

  1. Never run the Peachtree Road Race (hoping to cure that).
  2. Never been to World of Coke.
  3. Can't think of anything else. I guess the Carter Library as OP stated.

About every 60's era elementary school student in the metro took a field trip there, so yes.

Well, that was quick...
The family decided to do Fritti for Fathers Day, and it’s only a short walk to the Carter Library from there, so off we went. It was a pleasant visit, and for folks that are a little impatient with Presidential history, they had a Georgia film exhibit. Kids can’t complain too much we they get to see Captain America’s shield, Thor’s hammer, and Black Panther’s mask.
Happy Fathers Day!
