I’ve pretty much lived in Atlanta my whole life, but I’ve never...
1) Ridden the Rich’s Pink Pig
2) Visited the Carter Library
3) Seen the Cyclorama

1) Go to MLK's house
2) Go to any Civil Rights museums

3) Been to the World of Coca-Cola

I've never been through the new World of Coke. We went down there but I started feeling dizzy and just waited on a bench while everybody else went through.

When I was a college student I threw a chicken bone on the street in midtown. That's the most Atlanta thing I have ever done.

Clermont Lounge
The (New) World of Coke (sad because, for a while, I was a contractor at the HQ)
Fernbank

I was able to cross Atlanta History Center off this past weekend when they had an excellent series of activities for Juneteenth.

It's truly an underappreciated gem. I need to go back, I was waiting for the Cyclorama to open. Did you see it?

Yes, I hadn't seen the Cyclorama in more than 20 years, and they did an excellent job restoring and explaining the history of how it was painted as a Union victory but was altered later as a Confederate victory to appeal to crowds when it was moved to the South. Anyone with any misgivings about it will be pleased to know all the Lost Cause mythology has been erased.
