Maybe it's not due to anything other than folks not wanting to contribute to turning a child into a demonseed. LOL

Hello everyone, this so caled MOMMA who is trying to Pimp out her baby, just sent me the nastiest DM. Swearing and carrying on about how her and hubby want to put their baby into modeling at any cost. That everyone should mind the own g--damn business. I sent her back quite a (nice) little response.

It's hard to answer because it's so...weird...the way it's phrased. First they say he IS a child model and the rest of the post shows he's NOT, they would just like him to be. Then they state they will accompany their child to photo shootings. Well, of course they will-- he's 17 months old! It's all kind of bizarre... I suspect the legitimate agencies have already turned them down and they don't want to accept that...

My daughter who is 11 year old is asleep next to me as I type. It seems like it was only yesterday when she was a baby in my arms. Today she told me "Mom, Frankensteins bride called, she wants her hair back". The time between the two went so fast, it was like fast forward.

I can't imagine locking a CHILD into something that is really not a CHILD activity. A child should be allowed to be a child as long as posible because being a adult can really SUCK. Why not make childhood as fun as posible?

When my daughter grows up, she won't be able to tell everyone that my house was always clean but she will be telling them about how I often met her at the bus and go to the pool in our neighborhood to play for the rest of the afternoon. OR about how we have Disney passes and spend alot of time there playing together. Or about all the times we spent the day at the beach, collecting sea shells, watching for manatee or building a sand castle. What about the time that for her birthday we ate breakfast inside the castle at The Magic Kingdom?

Of the parents who have children who work, if your doing this because you can't support the family without it OR your living vicariously THROUGH your child, then shame on you!!

Lindsey, you just brought tears to my eyes. Your daughter is very lucky and I wish every child could be so.

Thank you for your kind words. I wanted to be a different kind of parent then my parents were. I try to make life fun for her. She has responsibilities but she is a kid after all.

Child modelling is a little out of the mainstream even for these forums, IMO.

I can only say this...

When my dog was a puppy, I decided to get her into modeling. She was on dog food cans, bags, toy packages - you name it. I dragged her from audition to audition at all hours, on carriers in planes, and driving for days to get a chance for that next Alpo tv commercial.

Well, she grew up. The pressure of her childhood years got to her and did a real number on her mental development. She doesn't play well with others, and has developed a drinking problem. Today, it's nothing but lamp shades on the head and falling over shoes in a drunken stupor...

Don't let your child become another adult alcoholic antisocial mixed mutt. Just... don't.

LOL! You should be ashamed of yourself. You've got to get that poor dog some help!
