Preliminary plans call for over 450 acres. 2,400 residential units and over 200k sq. ft of commercial spaces. Many pocket parks and trails.

450 acres is huge. For comparison Avalon is under 90 acres and Halcyon is around 135 acres.

Toll Brothers is expanding it’s footprint in northern/ northeastern Atlanta suburbs in Forsyth and Cherokee counties.

PS- hearing from credible sources that Toll Brothers has purchased a lot of land in the past few years and is planning dozens of new communities in the next several years.

I may or may not be eyeing Davidson Forsyth for our next home

This development likely is going to cause the student population to expand in the Lambert High School feeder zone/attendance zone of the Forsyth County Schools system.

Lambert High School itself already currently has an enrollment of more than 2,940 students.

This appears to be the kind of project that easily could push Lambert’s enrollment over the 3,000-student mark.

Wow, those school numbers are amazing. Opposite of where I am right now; but I want to stay in the city.

Yep.

Next to the quarry (and a ready mix concrete supply company and a paving contractor).

And, apparently, they are still blasting there according to some fairly recent reports.

No, I think that atlHawks wants a much higher-rated and higher-performing school as noted in the property development report linked to above:

I vaguely recall there were a few public meetings and the accompanying controversy to relocate the asphalt plant in that area a few years ago. I guessed that got passed and the plant parcel forms part of the land in this proposal.
