I'm completing my MA in UGA shortly. Very interested in teaching high school, prerably (but not necessarily) private school.
Does anyone have ideas about availability, pay, and possible schools in Atlanta area? How difficult is it to get a job like that, etc

Just curious. I am also inquiring about various counties to teach in. I am doing my research on their sites. I am planning on submitting to Gwinnett, Fayette, Fulton, Dekalb and Cobb at the moment. I don't know where I am going work or live yet. Still working on that. The thing that doesn't go well with me is most counties pay once a month (besides Fulton from what I know). I don't know how people do that. Not impossible, but that has me a bit uncomfortable. Share what you find. Although I'm working toward Phys Ed and Art as extra certifications, I do K-6 at the moment, strictly Elementary.
