OK, so I've paid my Dekalb County property taxes. But I got a letter from my mortgage company telling me they've received no tax bill from City of Atlanta. I can see from the my online account with the mortgage company that they've paid the Dekalb bill, just FYI.

I've Googled unsuccessfully to find information regarding City of Atlanta property taxes. Now, I know I could call but I hate calling the city. So I thought I would ask anyone here. Anyone already received their City of Atlanta property tax bill? If not, when does that normally get sent out?

Thanks!

OK, so perhaps it's coming soon. Good to know.

Do you know if your tax info can be viewed online the way ti can with Dekalb County? I couldn't find it on the web site but that web site sucks so it might be that my search function skills suck, too...

Are you sure you're inside the City? In Fulton, the city and county (and state) tax bill comes on the same bill. In fact, I don't think the city sends out a property tax bill -- it's handled by the counties. Could be wrong.

Yep, my son is in the APS system and I am within the city limits of Atlanta (Lake Claire is the boundary to the east and I am in Candler Park) but in Dekalb County. I know I paid City of Atlanta taxes last year, which was my first year in my house so the taxes were paid up front wiht the sale of the house.

I just don't know what ot expect.

Could they have sent it directly to the mortgage co? DeKalb does, Decatur doesn't.
