Hi, fellow Canadian. I kind of agree with you, except that, compared with very-secular BC (my home region), pretty-much everyone here is a religious zealot (although not all rednecks, of course).

I must agree with you, however have you thought perhaps that the indigenous South sort of "starts their own agenda" when it comes to "morals, culture" and judgement of others?

Maybe if some people [around here] would "leave others alone" they wouldn't be so targeted media-wise. Metro Atlanta has had some rather unsavory personalities (political mostly) that has left a deep "branding" of culture & convictions [so to speak] in the minds of many Americans and residents here and overseas.

The infamous Mike Bowers is definately one hypocritical, indigenous resident. Can you ever forget how he embarassed the State of Georgia to the entire world several years ago?

We reap what we've sown ... deserve what we get I suppose!

Yeah, raging idiots like Cynthia McKinney have definitely made people form an opinion of this area. Oh wait, she's a Californian now - GOOD RIDDANCE!
