Are you looking to rent or buy? Are schools an issue? What is your price/budget? Do you want to be close to your family in Decatur (5 minutes away? 30 minutes away? doesn't matter)? Where will you be working? How ling a commute are willing to have?

This information is needed to at least start to help you. Please provide more info so I can help.

Do you have a job lined up or 6 months' to a year's worth of expenses in cash to support yourself ? The unemployment rate here is hovering at 9% and will only get worse in the short term. Lining up employment before moving (not an easy task) would be a recommendation, and then you can determine where you want to live based on where you work. If you have a job in KY, you might want to think about hanging on to it for now.
