Hello Kia folks I just recv'd a call today 9/19/11 and I had interview 8/29/11. I see you all speaking of a assessment test is this for all employees? I'm going for production, if so can someone tell me what's on the test so I can brush up on whatever I need to know. Also I would like to know what is the hands on training doing? Thanks in advance. My training date 10/8,15,22. Is there anyone here have the same training date if so leave me a mess and we can get together. Good luck to you all . I needed to know also is there a high turnover if so why>>>>????? Lisa W.

<P>@ bamakidd do you work @ Kia. I would like to knw what to exspect in training and Productions area. The high turnover is due to To Much OT????... I know alot of ppl don't like the fact of differ shifts having to work changing every 4 weeks. My understanding is off Sat-Sun, or they want you to work those days? My whole interview was asking about being an coming to work " if I were ask to stay OVER would I", nothing about my experience. So they are going to burn you out? is the work hard for the full 8-10 hour days?

The 24hr training is your assesment.4hr of easy computer ,common sence.the other 20 hrs will be hands on using hand/air tools, and following directions, hint always ,,always check your instructions and see that its on page one when you start a station.then attention to detail.(bring headache meds with your lunch, don't think you have time to go anywhere to get food cause you won't,and the breaks are ten min, thirty for lunch, and if you drop a part on the floor you wil have to yell out loose part on the floor. Also like my class started with like 43 people and on sec day it was down to like 24 last day 14,not sure iif it was background, lack of commitment,or they just got a coursey call saying hey you didn't do to good and may not wana waste your time, but it was a lot of drop off. As far as kia and work wise,my buds say its great, yes they work you hard, but you know how that goes you either like/hate overtime. Me I love money and the pay is great .was told They give bonus for attendance/on time, they send a lot to korea for training, culture trip. And ot.pay if you work wkend or holidays.
