This particular part of metro Atlanta is home to many transplanted families--many professionals and many employed in IT industry--so a progressive climate is to be found here.
That is not to say that Georgia/SE-US is entirely free of predjudice and intolerance. There are some neighborhoods/communities that are ethnically diverse and more that might be described as segregated.

There are lots of nice communities in Cumming and Forsyth County. What type of community are you looking for?
