You and Lil Musket give the same talking points. Extreme boosting of Evans. The comments on the Hill are identical. Evans schools are not all good schools.

Evans is a part of the metro Augusta area... this is the metro Augusta forum. No one said "ALL" schools in Evans were great... but there is ample evidence that shows (test scores, graduation rates, SAT, college admittance) that bears out that schools in Columbia County and particularly Evans perform better overall than Richmond County schools. The worst school in Columbia County is better than the average school in Richmond County. Harlem High is no where near on the level of Glenn Hills, Laney, Josey, etc. I suppose all of these people who are moving to Columbia County because of the school system are just completely deluded. Anyone who lives in the Augusta area knows what the overall perception the school system is. Does that mean Richmond County doesn't have good schools? No.. it most certainly does... the magnet schools are fantastic, Westside is as good as any school in Evans I'd say... but if you take the school systems as a whole, there is simply no comparison. And people have voted based on where they are choosing to live.
Your personal attacks are petty and quite frankly are growing tiresome.

Belair road West Augusta. The older homes in the BR area or powell road. Flowing Wells in Martinez the older neighborhoods. May have something in your price range and criteria.

Both counties have good and bad schools. Harlem is definitely not better than the average high school in richmond county. And im excluding the magnet schools in richmond Davidson & AR Johnson. Its better than the three worst high schools Glenn Hills, Laney and Josey. Harlem is alot lower than richmond county high schools. ARC, Westside, Cross Creek, and Hephzibah. Hephzibah is not in the city of Augusta but still in richmond county. Grovetown which opens up this year in columbia county. Will be on par with Harlem high.

Just my unbiased two cents.
