I am wondering about the job market and the cost of living. Is there apartments in the area. I have been posting threads about a few different towns and just tring to find the best place. I have narrowed it down to these towns.

Evans,GA
St. Marys
Brunswick
Darien

I would like to be near the beach but also want the small town atmosphere. I also need to be close to job opportunities. I am looking for administrative/clerical positions. I dont want to have to commute to far. I have not been to these areas yet but do plan on taking a trip in the near future. I would also like to know about property taxes and insurence in these areas. I would like someday to purchase a home but I am tring to learn about the costs of owning a home other than the usual utilities and maintance issues. Also schools are not an issue. I do not have children. I am a 28 year old single female so also want to be where there is opportunities for some night life. I dont need nightclubs but somewhere the locals like to just hang on the weekends. Thank you for any information you can provide on these areas.

Out of those 4 you would be better off in evans while evans aint cheap the cost of living on the coast aint cheap and u would probably have better luck with a job in evans. It would be nice to live on the georgia coast but you need some deep pockets.

Evans is a congested surburb in augusta so u will have places to hangout & should find a job pretty easy. Its about 20 mins from downtown and probably 15 from augusta mall. North Augusta is right by downtown & has houses on the water i mean not a beach but u can walk on the riverwalk & if u have a jet ski or yacht or smaller boat u will have access to water. I think theres new developments in Beech Island, Sc going up. You should check Grovetown, GA Thomson, GA & Martinez, GA all in Metro Augusta
