Hi All,
Being new to Austin (~3 months) I am still getting my feet wet here (but am loving it).
I have a friend coming to town who is a huge Bronco's fan. I need to find a bar where we can watch and listen to the game.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
BTW - this is for Sunday Sept 26th (IND @ Denver 3:15pm CST).
Thanks in advance!

I'm partial to the Texas Tavern on 12th and Lamar. Excellent appetizers--mini burgers, potato skins, etc. Big screened t.v.s, good selection of beer. Laid-back atmosphere. Nice!

Two years later I'm in the same boat - need to find a place for my friend to watch (and listen) to the Bronco's game. any ideas? I don't think that The Tavern (as previously suggested) would have audio...

Austin Terrier has a huge TV with audio. It's on Greystone at Mopac. They only serve beer and wine, if that constitutes a bar to you. Only one game at a time, so you'd probably want to call ahead and see if they're showing it, or if there's a conflict. Pizza, sandwiches, appetizers on the menu. Pretty good food.

Looks like the Broncos Meetup group goes to Clicks Billiards and watches in a private room:

The Upper Decks bar&grill next to the Embassy Suites downtown is pretty good. Lots of tv's and an outdoor patio area as well.

Legends Sports Bar @ the Holiday Inn on Jollyville is good if you don't want huge crowds.
