Moving a few blocks. Any mover recs? Need someone mainly for furniture and a few other things. Not a ton of boxes due to the nature of the move and the overlap between having our new place and old place.

Thanks!

I have heard good things about Heavenly Care Movers in Austin, Texas.

Hope this helps.

I've heard Blue Whale and Square Cow were good and competent. Wished I'd used one of them instead of my pick!

Just used Unicorn and they were good. Unicorn and Apple had good customer reviews.

I don't have any recommendations, but would love a review of whoever you end up using, as we'll likely be doing the same thing in a few months.

I know there are tons of threads on this before... I always recommend Chaparral Moving. We used them in 2007 and they were 50% cheaper than everyone else and were fantastic. I've had 4 or 5 coworkers use them since and they've all been very happy and have always given the cheapest quotes. IF we end up using movers for our move next month, we will be using them again.
