Hey, Austin.

I'm looking for some suggestions on stores in the Austin area where I can find unique/eclectic furniture and home decor items of good quality. I'm familiar with Mercery and LOFT. I prefer locally owned stores, but am open. We need every thing from a sofa to wall art to curtains to rugs.

Any online suggestions are great too.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Try Simply Austin in South Austin - Simply Austin Furniture - Simply Austin Furniture

I went to Four Hands which has beautiful stuff but way out of my price range - Four Hands Home - Life. Fully Furnished..

Motif was also recommended to me but I have not been there - MOTIF Modern Living Store Locations.

While it is not a homegrown shop, Furniture Row off of 183 is worth checking out. There are several stores in the one strip mall.

Also I went to the home consignment store off 183 in Cedar Park and it was worth the trip. Only bought one small item, but it is locally owned and they were really nice. Their inventory changes frequently and they post a lot of their new items on craigslist as well I saw.
