If you have a hankering for British cuisine, there is an awesome trailer on the east side that caters especially to discernable British palettes:

Not to mention, there is also some architecture in the area that lends itself to a more traditional british influence:

There are pockets of housing with british characteristics, but the majority of (non-tract) housing tends to be french colonial influenced in the older urban neighborhoods, and spanish colonial/eclectic in the nouveau riche areas of town.

We too miss cricket and rugby, but we are getting used to watching games on live streaming over the internet.
I miss real English 'bangers' and proper hot tea more than anything else
I have met quite a few Brits since we have been here...all randomly, at the store, kids school, at a friends BBQ!

There are some other culinary choices in Austin from those who've moved from Oz. This place is ridiculously good:
Boomerang's Gourmet Veggie & Meat Pies: Aussie Meat Pies | Austin, Texas

I just found out about this place (ironically one week after some visiting relatives went back to Australia). The Guinness Steak and Potato is worth dying for, seriously.

don't be mislead soccer only gets hot in aust in during worldcup. (t did for 2006 and 2010)

there are now atleast three bars that I know of in Austin that show important games (UEFA EPL.)

thankfully we now have two satellite channel in the U.S FoxSports and Goal TV that show european games ESPN will show only super important games.

but you will have to get used to crappy commentating.
