We are seriously considering a move to Austin, TX from St. George, Ut. We have 5 children ages 1-12 yrs old and I would like to know if there are any good charter schools there. We'd also love some advise on neighborhoods/areas. My ideal neighborhood is one that has a lot of mature trees, at least .3 acre of land, and has different charming and unique homes. I can't stand the all brick/no character/tract homes. We'd probably have to stay in the 250K- 500K price range. Any info would be great. Thanks!

NYOS in north Austin is a pretty good charter school. I'm not sure if you want to live within proximity to the school, but there's a neighborhood just northwest of the school that seems to have oldder, unique homes. There's also Tanglewild. It's a tucked away neighborhood that goes unnoticed because of it's hidden location. It's located in a very convenient area, nevertheless.
