Naumann Elementary? (Pflugerville: home, public school, kindergarten)

I know that this is a really specific question, but I would greatly appreciate help. My child will be starting kindergarten this fall at Naumann. We have the option of requesting teacher preferences. I don't know where to start.

Does anyone have any positive or negative feedback about any of the kindergarten teachers that might help? I want to give my child the best possible start at public schooling with a great teacher. Any recommendations would be *greatly* appreciated!

I teach in Pflugerville, but recently bought a home in Buttercup Creek area. Our future kiddos will be going to Faubion (not far from Naumann) and I noticed parents are allowed to request specific teachers. If no one gives you any feedback, I would recommend seeing if you can take a tour of the school before the year ends. TAKS is over with and you should be able to see what the school is like and get a sense of the activities going on down the kinder hall. Obviously, this may not give you all the information you want, but at least you get to see what the school is like before fall. Although our school does not believe in requesting teachers, the school allows mini tours if nothing is going on.
