Hi all,

Does anybody have any recommendations for a quiet, recently built apartment complex?

I'm looking for a 1-bedroom that has:

-Washer/Dryer or hookups
-Well constructed buildings with THICK walls for quiet living
-Detached garage
-A hot tub
-$800 to $1000 range

I've been living in an apartment at william cannon/congress and the crime is getting really bad. I'm tired of people breaking into my vehicle. The complex is old and my AC unit doesn't work well. I'm on the 3rd floor (top) and my apartment gets up to 90 degrees in the summer.

I would love to live on the first floor, but I don't want to hear footsteps above me all the time. That's why I'm looking for suggestions/testimonials for some nicely constructed apartments.

As far as location: I work at Oltorf/35. It's really easy right now for me to jump right on 35 and be at work in about 7-10 minutes. I would like to move closer, but I wouldn't mind moving down south a little bit more into the slaughter area if I can find the right place.

Thank you for the help!
