I was wondering if anyone knows any good leads on vacation home rentals for a few days/a weekend this summer? Preferably on a lake or a river, someplace close to water, yet close to Austin & San Antonio & all the fun stuff one can do in those towns. San Marcos on the river might be nice.
A condo would most likely work, but an actual, furnished home would certainly be preferable. I'll Google things myself, but I thought some people on here might have some good leads.

Our mountain house is 1100 miles away in Highlands, NC. Averages 20 degrees cooler than Austin during the summer!
After the last two summers, I plan on spending a month or so enjoying the highs in the 80s!
