I'm sure Whole Foods is doing their best to prevent that from happening. Maybe that's why they are still hanging out in that location instead of moving into the one that is apparently complete yet empty at the Domain?

Well, this certainly explains all the buzz on here about TJ's. It's also nice to see HEB doing so well on the graph in general and it fits my sentiment about shopping at Walmart perfectly!

Looks like the TJ sign is there now on Bee Cave Rd.. I haven't pulled in to see if they are open yet. I'm sure as overhyped as it has been I'll wonder what the big deal is, but I'm willing to be wowed.

I think the original opening date was late September. The sign being up this soon is hopeful!

While the finish out looks done, the fixtures aren't even in yet. Having watched a TJ's open before, with staff training and everything, they are at least eight weeks off. I think their announced date of 9/20 looks good.

Grand opening of first TJ's in Austin tomorrow:

Inside new Trader Joe's store | kvue.com Austin

What happened to all the hype? I guess it's because Dallas, Houston and SA already have them.

I opened my last canister of my fav TJ's coffee this morning, then my assistant came into my office with the Statesman and the article that TJ's was opening tomorrow! Whew, we are going to make it! She is excited because I shared cookie butter with her and she wants her own jar!
