I don't know what to think about these weather forecast anymore. They say that Joplin, MO. could have snow flurries tomorrow but severe weather tonight and tomorrow for Dallas and Austin.

All I know is that the weather so far this spring has been nothing short of insane.

The squall line WAS impressive...then it just fell apart in north-north Austin. We're getting some wind, but not a drop of rain @ 1:45.

Poured last night at our house in SW Austin, maybe even a bit of hail. There wasn't a lot of thunder, but a few claps were so loud they were setting off car alarms.

Hydromet data for the highland lakes/Colorado river:
http://hydromet.lcra.org/media/mediaFivedayrain.txt

OR this one, set it to show 24-hr rainfall totals:
http://hydromet.lcra.org/full.aspx

It only covers the watershed (which most of RR is not in), but you can see that even the north side of Austin missed the rain.

We heard the rain last night, but only a little more than 1/4" of rain in my rain gauge in SW Austin, Legend Oaks. Still I appreciate every little bit of rain we get. This is the greenest my landscaping has been in 2 years.
