Since most of the posters on here seem to think Westlake HS is the end all be all, I thought I'd share a little info with you that most people don't get a chance to see.

LTHS vandalized | www.statesman.com

What kind of parents allow their children to act this way? This is just one of many incidents by the Westlake students with no retaliation from LT. Those kids need to be hitting the books and thinking about their futures instead of committing crimes. Just saying.

Such a lovely school...

Very rich ones. The kind who give their kids money for alcohol and drugs along with lunch money!

And as the graffiti happened between 2am-3am on a school night, it's parents who don't know where their kids are, and why aren't they in bed at that hour?

True, the entire school is full of thugs and only have the name that it does due to big pocketed parents paying very good marketeers (the same one's that the City of Austin apparently uses to push the "Austin - Our Roads are Paved with Gold" campaign). :roll eyes:

Is this supposed to influence what neighborhood prospective residents decide to live in?

All we know for certain is that if indeed a Westie did perpetrate this crime that the Westlake art teachers are asleep at the wheel.

You're right, it definitely does not speak well of WHS if that is the best they can do. I remember G'town painting 'the' Round Rock blue, and some school 'plucked' the stuffed Eagle that Georgetown had in the main hall. I recall the Hutto Hippo going for some photo ops all around central Texas after he was stolen....

But graffiti on a wall? So boring .
